The 2006 Energy Balances and Electricity Profiles is the fourteenth issue in a series that started in 1990. It contains energy balances for 115 developing countries for the period 2003-2006 and electricity profiles for 190 countries for the period 2001-2006. The energy balances are snapshots of the annual energy flows in each country showing energy production, trade, conversion and consumption. The electricity profiles provide detailed information on the production, trade and consumption of electricity, net installed capacity and thermal power plant input and efficiency.
