14.63.        This section briefly summarises available international guidance in the Balance of Payments and International Investment Position, Sixth Edition (BPM6), the BPM6 Compilation Guide, the Manual on Statistics of International Trade in Services 2010 (MSITS 2010), the MSITS Compiler’s Guide, the UNECE Guide to Measuring Global Production (GMGP, published in 2015); and Eurostat’s (2014) Manual on Goods Sent Abroad for Processing.

14.64.        Rather than reviewing each of the publications individually, the section is organised thematically, discussing merchanting transactions, manufacturing services and, the closely related, factoryless goods producers, highlighting in-turn important delineation issues.
